PLURIMO JUNIOR

Plurimo Ensemble

Progetto-Laboratorio-Universitario-di-Ricerca-Interdisciplinare–Music-Open

Founded in 2010 and directed by Letizia Michielon, the Ensemble is group in residence of Ateneo Veneto, the most historically significant cultural foundation in Venice. Plurimo’s interdisciplinary and avant-garde laboratory, with very flexibile instrumentation, represents the center of an ideal multiple faculty of arts, which sprung up from the synergy among international institutions, such as Juilliard School, NYU, MDW Vienna, CSI Lugano, Conservatory of Amsterdam, Academy of St. Cecilia, Universities and Academies of Fine Arts in Rome and Venice. The Ensemble defines its own aesthetic paradigm by referring to Emilio Vedova, and aims to realize integration among music and other disciplines in order to renovate the musical event. First musical performances are commissioned by Plurimo Ensemble and are intersected by new figurative, poetic and theatrical works, involving young artists together with prestigious soloists, playwrights and actors.
